Open Dialogue is a complex way of work in the mental health care system introduced by Finnish psychotherapist Jaako Seikkula. It has been developing in Western Lapland during the past 30 years.
Open Dialogue is currently the most effective system of care when it comes to first-break psychosis. Approximately 85 % of patients recover fully, a far majority of antipsychotic medication.
